Let's just say switches aren't just for puzzle games anymore. :( Did you see his Super Mario Galaxy review? That was a pretty alright co-op discussion from yesterday, we're going to send Rice-Rocketeer and Dave-A copies of Gears of War for PC. Some good stories there, stay tuned as we'll be sure to do more of these chatty-oriented contests in the future.

Is there any downside to transferring money from one online savings account to another in order to capitalize on a higher interest rate in another?
In this case, ING has a 4.20 APY, and Etrade has a 4.70 APY. Is there anything wrong with dumping all my ING money into etrade?
(assume total assets are under the 100k FDIC insurance amount, so I'm not worried about etrade going under).

What's weird is that price is also 23% higher if you get the $269 8800 GT. I just thought it was weird that you get what you pay for exactly. For 23% more money you get 23% more performance.

I just read on CAG that Best Buy is now matching the $25 Gift Car that Toys r us is bundling with Mario Galaxy. If you've already bought it you should be able to take your receipt to customer service and have them punch in the promo card and hand you the giftcard. If they won't do that just pick up a new copy with the gift card and return that new copy with your old receipt. Here's the post from CAG

Standardization--using names and cardinal directions--of key locations in maps so people can better orient themselves, attack and respond to threats.
I notice one of the main "problems" (if I can call it that) in games where there is even a modicum of teamwork being attempted is that describing where you or enemies are, or where you or they are going, etc., is pretty much a random, confusing affair.
So, for example, in 2Fort there are two stairwells leading to the intelligence room. One is accessed through that basement area and the other is from the top somewhere (see what I mean, lol). Maybe one stairwell could be designated "stair east" and the other "stair west." On granary, ost of the point areas have two entrances/exits so when someone calls out, "Medic/heavy incoming on the left side," it's not immediately clear which point is under threat and which side is "left" because you might be going in a different direction or whatever. Anyway, you can see where I'm going with this and how it could be applied to all the other maps, especially on twisty maps like Well.
I'd guess clans already do this to some extent, but for semi-private servers like the Shack's some sort of standardization of terms for naming locations (e.g. the first point in Granary could be "point 1" and then incoming attacks could be designated as "point 1 east" with home base fixed to south or north) would help everyone, I *think*. You don't have to memorize everything, but even if you remember just a few it can be the difference between capturing/defending a point or location, stopping a flag runner, IDing a sentry position, or IDing an open route so you can get to where you need to be, quickly find a dispenser, medic or teleporter, etc.

Trying to play GH3 on the 360 and while playing the screen just goes this gradient beige colour then gradient blue then completely black. Tried to restart the system and my TV shows "No signal" or "Mode not supported".
I think my box is about to die or is already dead.

Now, I'm of the school that whatever works, as long as its not an exploit should be permitted. I don't think this falls into the realm of sniping people before a round starts through the grate holes, but I also don't see a problem with that, or with rocket/sticky jumping over the trains on Hydro at the start of the round.
Anyone have thoughts on this? I think a shack consensus on:
spawn camping y/n
grate hole sniping/shooting/flaming y/n
hydro rushing
Personally, I think they are all valid tactics, as both teams can do so at will, but still....

* Cover changes to the first capture points of both teams. Reduces some of the sight lines for defenders, and should make the area easier to capture
* Teams that are holding more points will receive a greater spawn time bonus (spawn timer reduced for the winning team). This should help attacking teams build momentum
* Minor visual tweaks to the BLU side between capture points 2 and 3
* Clipped off a super high (demo pipe jump) perch in the middle area
* Increased base round timer to 10 minutes
* Added windows overlooking the final cap from the capture point 2 building (via new room next to conveyor route)

* Increased default bandwidth rate from 5 to 8 KB/sec for spectator clients
* Increased SourceTV demo buffer size for table class descriptions from 64 to 96KB. Team Fortress 2 was running over this
* Performance improvement for copying unreliable data buffers to SourceTV clients
* Updated the list of events in TF2 tagged for the director to play

I hate valve for not putting some kind of warning before loading this shit. Now I have to wait a day or two for the shack servers to be upgraded....

I received like 50 garbage emails today. They were ALL Mail Delivery Error emails. The delivery emails state that the SENDER of the emails were emails like:

Basically some dude is using my domain to send tons of spam to people, and I'm getting the mail delivery errors when the spams don't reach their destination.
I have my domain name, injectiondesign.com, set up with Google Apps. Everything looks normal in the Google apps control panel - these emails don't show up. How could someone be doing this, and how do I stop it?

I think my whammy bar is messed up though. I still cant beat the last boss on hard cause every time he gives me the whammy attack i die cause it takes like 10 secs for it to get down even though im hitting the whammy fast. I've seen one of my friends play on the ps2 and it goes away in like a second if he hits the whammy really fast. Anyone else have this problem?
And yea slayer sucks on expert. I can almost get through the mosh but I don't even think I'll be able to beat the rest of the song yet.
