High Velocity Bowling on PS3 'Hopefully' Next Week
by Chris Faylor, Nov 14, 2007 11:13am PSTSCE San Diego's downloadable PlayStation 3 bowling title, High Velocity Bowling, is in the final stages of certification and is hoped to arrive in the PlayStation Store next week. Similar to Nintendo's Wii Sports bowling, High Velocity Bowling has players replicating the underhanded toss of a bowling ball via the PS3's motion-sensitive Sixaxis controller. The game offers up a variety of challenges and numerous characters for players to compete against.
"I know I'm pretty excited about it, personally--I'm sick of seeing only my team and our hard working Quality Assurance guys & gals on the leaderboards," senior producer P.J. Snavely wrote on the PlayStation Blog. "I can't wait to see you all get your hands on it!"
