What kind of cities would you build? The possibilities are endless. Here is one small city in northern Washington. Endless.

      @ Assassins Creed

Video looked great, but i'm still not totally convinced.
It seems like combat is one of the key things that will make or break this game. My hope though is, that it isn't done in a way where it's too simplistic. That's one of the things that has been hard to judge, even after watching loads of footage (even this one.. that was supposed to be about it).
      Reviews will decide i guess.

I feel the same way, combat looks iffy to me.

Are there any attacks that aren't completely scripted animations? I'm all for 'brutal execution' style finishers like God of War, but if they're too easy to pull off then combat becomes trivial and non-interactive.

Also the fact that guys stand around you in a circle while you pull these moves on them 1-by-1. I'm not sure I like enemies taking free hits on my ass during executions on The Witcher, but there has to be some happy medium.

          My thoughts exactly ^
Lets hope they got it right.. as it surely is too late now :( considering the upcoming release @ US: November 13 and Europe: November 16

Most likely the name of the game is 'escape'. I'll bet that you don't get much life so if you get hit like twice you die -- this will be great for adding tension, or the need to inflict damage on one guy in order to break free from the circle of troops and run. You probably don't want to take on 3 or more soldiers -- and if you do, you can be sure that you better decide properly who you attack first, second, third, and so on.

Combat in that game looks really fun and tactical.

I'll wait and see what other shackers think before getting this one. I'll be busy with Mario Galaxy and Mass Effect for the rest of this month anyway.

Historically, this team (Sands of Time) has fucked up the combat. I'm not totally sold on the control scheme either...
