I wouldnt mind more of the same, but not when its more of the same but with an annoyingly bad interface. All the previous UT games have had fantastic UI's and server browsers, no idea why they went and ruined it by sleeping with gamespy.

Is "Unreal Tournament 3" ONLY an online game?
If so, what will they call the single player game? Just "Unreal 3?"

Graphics and art direction seem pretty neato, though.
...comes a game that could almost be set in the same universe! ;)

Ps. the epic guys seriously lack creativity when it comes to stories and characters....

I thought the demo was too slow for an arcade DM game. I'm sure that will be fixed with a mutator after release, but most servers will probably run at the default (slow) speed. It was pretty, but beyond the graphics, I was less than impressed with the demo.
I'll probably pick it up eventually though. Previous games in the series have been great.

Does anybody even get excited for UT games anymore? I played unreal a lot, then I played Unreal Tournament until my hands were bloody. Then I was meh about UT2k3, the one after that sucked, the single player whatever whatever I don't even know what was next ... and now this.
I feel like the franchise has just gotten stale. It sucks too, because the engine(s) are always gorgeous, and some great games come out of them. But you can't survive on a great gaming engine alone anymore (*cough* id *cough*)
