Originally a PlayStation 3 exclusive, publisher Koei later said the title would be coming to Xbox 360 along with Koei Canada's ill-received Fatal Inertia (PS3, X360), also originally a PS3 exclusive that has yet to retail on Sony's console.

Bladestorm comes from Dynasty Warriors developers Omega Force, but the title curiously lacks any kind of multiplayer whatsoever, without even the option for same-screen offline play. A demo of the game is available on Xbox Live Marketplace as well as the PlayStation Netowork.
