Owners of Nintendo's little handheld that could will soon be able to watch television broadcasts on the touch-sensitive portable. Slated to release in Japan on November 20, the dual-antenna device will sell for the sum of 6,800 yen, which comes out to about $60. The peripheral, which was originally announced in February 2006, takes advantage of Japan's 1seg broadcasting network. Video appears in the top screen, while the bottom screen acts as a remote control and provides configuration options.

Nintendo has yet to specify if it plans to bring the tuner to Europe or North America, though such an effort would likely require a redesign as 1seg is not available in those territories.
