Seth Green, Lance Henriksen and Others Voice Mass Effect Characters

Seth Green, who appeared in the Jessica Alba-starring Idle Hands and voices Family Guy's Chris Griffin, is one of the many A-list celebrities lending his vocal talents to BioWare's Xbox 360 sci-fi RPG Mass Effect. In the game, Green portrays Joker. Other celebrities and their respective roles include Millenium protagonist Frank Black, Lance Henriksen himself, as Admiral Steven Hackett, Pitch Black veteran Keith David as Captain David Anderson, and Star Trek: The Next Generation hottie Marina Sirtis as The Matriarch. To celebrate their addition to the cast, Microsoft released three videos, one of an informational interview with Green, the second featuring amusing outtakes from Green's sessions, and the third questioning Henriksen, David, and Sirtis about their efforts.

I really dig Seth Green, and I totally love Lance Henriksen but this news break my heart, you know why? Not because I don't have a 360 and I won't enjoy the sheer bliss that seems to be Mass Effect, but because I live in Europe! Worse I live in Fuckin' France! And there are some damn fine actors and voice actors around here, but none of them works for blasted video games!
If a Tomb Raider game is made in the US with Angelina Jolie's haunting voice; here it will be dubbed by Piggy McNoTeeth, an 280 pounds ear-wrenching scotswoman who doesn't even speak french. Hell, we will consider ourselves lucky if she's isn't dubbed by a man.

I'm getting a lot of visual artifacts in the downloadable versions, anyone else getting this?

I wonder if this is just my version/install of windows media player...maybe it's messed up or something.

I did some contract audio work for this game. I knew about Green and Sirtis and I guessed About Keith David from the voice in the trailers, but I didn't know about Lance Henrikson. I mean it's cool to have brand name actors, but IMO I only care if they do a good job. Some screen/TV actors can't do VO very well.
