TimeShift Gets Golden for PC, 360

After getting delayed, gutted, and extensively overhauled, Saber Interactive's TimeShift (PC, PS3, X360) has gone gold for PC and Xbox 360 and will make its retail date of October 30. The PlayStation 3 version is currently scheduled for release December 4. The game features the time-controlling gameplay alluded to in its title and has 16-player online multiplayer via PC or Xbox Live. I made an offer on a truck and the guy says that if he "gifts" it to me that I can save about $400 on taxes from the state. Has anyone done this before? Sounds pretty shady.

I was impressed, as others are mentioning in here, as well, by this demo. Though the menus feel very consolized (big, clunky, kinda fugly) the game looks sweet and is quite fun to play. Allowing you the choice of selecting the exact time-altering mode you want to use OR allowing you to just hit the F key to have the AI pick the most appropriate ability was a cool design decision, imho.

Definitely going to grab this one, despite the crowded schedule this fall.

  To be fair the menu is from the original design. While I miss the bright saturated colors of the original... : cell9song
