Book: Soldiers shot individually out of big gunin a ship, fly thru air, capsule burns up. Trigger parachut last second. Big ass dudes in power armor (\"Gorillas\"). 1 soldier could take on a 20th century tank battalion. Jump Jets, IR vision, Zoom vision, nuclear rockets, flamethrowers, auto grenade dropppers. About 20 guys take a city.

Movie: Pansy ass ship taking them down. Guys dressed in used high-school football pads. Have pussy machine guns, cant hit shit. 1 bug kills about 30 of them.

It\'s based on the movie if you look at the screenies.

Am i gonna buy it? nope.

#2 / #3: Yah, agreed. I went with a friend to see the movie while at college a few years ago, and I was nonplussed. But I read the book afterwards, and I was very impressed.

Have you ever read \"Stranger in a Strange Land\", by Heinlein? I hear that\'s good as well....
