The fifth demo added to the Xbox Live Marketplace this week is one for Virtua Fighter 5. Available in all Xbox Live regions, the 675mb demo includes four characters, three stages, and Arcade and VS (online) modes. Sega's fighting game sequel was released for the PlayStation 3 back in February, and will be available on Xbox 360 October 30.

I hope the game looks better in motion than in the screenshots. DOA4 has been out for damn ever and the visuals in this look so....blah. Not that it will decrease the gameplay, I use to play Virtua Fighter a ton back when the Saturn had its brief adventure in the console world. But was kinda assuming it would be somewhat...better looking than this.

The models appear kinda blurry in the screenshots, which isnt the case in the demo, but the graphics quality is still pretty much the same yeah.

see, this is the thing i dont get about VF, the game is supposed to be the most hardcore fighting game there is, like really totally the opposite of DoA, but what DoA does well is bring new fans because of the graphics (not to mention the chicks) and its simplied gameplay.

VF, on the other hand if you havent followed the game since it started i guess you are screwed.
My first VF experience was VF3 on the dreamcast and i hated it, I went back to soul calibur.
Gave VF4 for the ps2 a chance and it was better than 3, i enjoyed that more, but still I wanted to learn akira since he seems to be the Ryu of the VF series and boy was that character such a chore.

I got hopes though, that this version of VF5 will be the one that will convert me to a VF player, or else bring tekken to the 360 with online and i'll be ok.

      that and a 2D STF4 already dammit!!

Akira is probably the hardest character to learn to play. Start off with an easier character like Pai and you'll have a lot more fun.
