Mass Effect Collector's Edition Detailed

Microsoft Game Studios announced the details of its previously mentioned collector's edition for BioWare's forthcoming sci-fi epic RPG Mass Effect today. Surprisingly, the collector's edition has yet to make an appearance on GameStop, Amazon.com, or any other retailer's website. The limited edition will include a tie-in novel called "Galactic Codex: Essentials," an art book for the game entitled "A Future Imagined," and a bonus DVD with videos about the art and interactive storytelling the developers put into the title. Microsoft gave no indication of pricing for the collectible version of the game, but it's safe to assume it will retail at the standard $10 premium of $69.99 alongside the regular edition of Mass Effect. The game is scheduled for a November 20 release.
