Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East Demo Released

Ubisoft has released a Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East demo for those of you interested in trying the upcoming strategy game expansion pack. The 900mb demo allows you to play as an Orc faction and use their new "Blood Rage" and "War Cries" features to rock the battlefield. Developed by Nival Interactive, the retail version of the stand-alone expansion ships October 16.

    They're sitting on one of the best North American RPG licenses ever and not reaping anything from the RPG starved gaming market...

    I mean M&M was pretty popular as an RPG back in the old PC days. Wtf aren't they doing a good old school NA RPG with it instead of those crappy heroes games?

      heroes games are fun too, back when it was HoMM3... kinda sucks now

      Heroes 3 still gets played today, it's a pretty well balanced and fun game to play hot seat. Just cause this Heroes game sucks (unpolished, akward as fuck to play, slow) doesn't mean Heroes sucks. Point me to a better fantasy TBS game than Heroes 3.

        Disciples 2 comes close I think, in terms of art it definitely surpasses it.

          never tried this game, though it looks like it has been all but forgotten by the ages - which is usually a sign. I'm intrigued to try it, but I sincerely doubt it can hold up against Heroes.
