How is it going? Stay a while and chat! So I guess it's clear that Halo 3 is pushing the 360 (thanks Fred!) more than ever, as we've had a notable number of 360-cides via the infamous red ring of death. Heh, if they wanted to offer a really appropriately themed service for the Halo 3 launch, maybe they should have opted for Pelican-delivered cross-shipping warranty repair for those machines, ala how RMAs are normally handled. Did you see the Halo 3 photoshopping contest results? Lots of great submissions, and I really could have easily given away twice as many prizes. On the plus side, it'll just be days before we having something new for everyone to partake in. Random Shacknews Facts: Steve used to be homies with Santa Claus. That's actually who did all his ink.

  • Small rant here..

I have always been a little hesitant of steam, mostly because I don't like the idea of having to connect to a central server before playing a game. Computers and internet connections can get flaky from time to time.. and when shit breaks, you have to wait to play. I had quite a few issues yesterday which I was able to solve with the help of some shackers and the support page. I have no doubt it was a bug on their end or just not enough pipe for the users.

Fast forward to tonight, when I repeatedly get a message saying steam is just 'to busy' to handle my request at this time. Now i've bought more than a few games from steam and have gotten over the fact that you dont get manuals or dvds like you'd bought them from the store.. i've even overlooked that you don't get a price break. Not being able to play TF2 because steam is 'to busy' can suck my balls, ass, and dick. It's just wrong, open the fucking pipes already.
