Shack2 Auto-Thread Test

by Steve Gibson, Feb 28, 2000 3:55pm PST

Ok guys, got a new toy for you to play with. The Shack2 auto-threading system. Basically the system will thread comments, even though you arent doing anything different. This will be disabled by default of course but makes for good catch up for people who only stop by once in a while. Give it a try and tell me what you guys think. It's just a raw test but we'll see how you guys like it and of course make changes as needed. If you're paranoid, there is a default flat view linked in there as well that will be on Shack2. Comments posted from that form are not threading, yet. 7pm note: Started a new thread. There is a hard cap on there. It wasnt broken, just full. :)

hey whens the last time you had a small hard drive . do you think you could use a drive less then a gig for longer than ,say a week with out going nuts looking for space. I have had an 850 meg drive for two whole days and I\'m looking to squeeze the software on the drive now for a little room. It\'s a good thing I still have the q3a demo, cus that\'s about the only game I can get on here . Even the demo a tight fit. O I can fit the card games and such but really why:)
