Xbox 360 Receives Minor System Update

Microsoft today released an extremely minor Xbox 360 system update, which must be installed in order for users to connect to Xbox Live. Much like the August update--which enabled support for Rock Band and Guitar Hero III's upcoming wireless guitars--the only function of today's download was to add support for the big-buttoned buzzers that will be packaged with Screenlife Games and WXP's Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action when it arrives later this year. Discussing the update, Xbox Live director of programming Larry Hyrb, who runs the Major Nelson blog, was adamant that a more feature-packed system firmware update is still planned for release this fall.

Yeah, I'll be getting this title as well. Scene-It is a great party game. Going by the comments from people that have played this game, this is going to be an even better party game. Some people may laugh at this title, especially some hard-core gamers, but I really think this is going to be huge for the 360.

I am so going to buy Scene It? Ive played the board game with the inlaws and it is pretty fun. Having it in an actual console and not a lame DVD game will be great. I hope we get some You Don't Know Jack as well. That is such a fun party game.
