TGS 07: Kingdom Hearts Heads to DS, PSP
by Chris Faylor, Sep 20, 2007 8:56am PDTSquare Enix's massively popular Disney-Square mashup Kingdom Hearts is headed to DS and PSP, the company revealed today at Tokyo Game Show. Apparently a prequel to Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2), the oddly named Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days on Nintendo DS tells the tale of KH2 pseudo-antagonist Roxas during his time in the mysterious Organization XIII. With full 3D graphics, it looks to be more of a traditional Kingdom Hearts offering than the franchise's previous portable effort, Jupiter's card-based Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (GBA). 358/2 Days will also support up to four players through wireless multiplayer. Not much is known about the PSP edition, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, as the presentation lacked any clearly distinguishable Kingdom Hearts characters. Shacknews has contacted Square Enix for more information on both titles.
