TGS 07: Konami Announces Little; New MGS 4 Trailer Downloadable Soon

6
Konami had little to say at their pre-Tokyo Game Show press briefing tonight, other than that they will have a lot to show in the days to come.

For starters, a new Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer was introduced by Hideo Kojima. The trailer featured fresh footage, with plenty of Metal Gears, new environments, overblown fight scenes, and ninjas. The video will soon be made available to fans for download.

In the realm of minor announcements, a new Nintendo DS adventure game titled Time Hollow was unveiled by Konami's Katsunori Okita. The game--which revolves around an anime-styled hero who owns a magic pen with the power to alter the past--will feature a story by Japanese novelist Takahiko Hata, and is set for a 2008 Winter release in Japan.

As the Tokyo Game Show gets underway in nearly 12 hours, stay tuned for hands-on impressions of Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Online--both of which will be playable on the show floor.

I hope Silent Hill: Origins and Silent Hill 5 are at least mentioned at the show this time

Origins will be on the floor, so I'll be giving that a look.

        Awesome :-)

I got the opportunity to play the "demo" earlier this month and was very impressed with it, I'd be interested to see what kind of progress they've made with it (if any).
