To the eight people that have NHL '08:

Anyone else think it's very hard, more so than '07, even on pro difficulty? I was playing it with some friends of mine and were were getting killed, we had a sucky player on our team but still... ;) Better than being too easy though I guess.

Although on the whole it seems very good, much smoother it seems. Some gripes are there is no way to alternate taking faceoffs anymore, if you were playing with a friend it's always player 1 that takes the face off where in nhl '07 you alternated.

Anyone else with this game? Thoughts?

I hate to start another ipod thread, but i havent seen anything helpful on this. Using the ipod touch in coverflow, i realized i only have a few albums with cover art showing. Whats the easiest way to do this so the ipod sees the art? most of my albums have cover art that shows in WMP, but im guessing the ipod/itunes uses something different.

Halo 3 Question

Who here is buying the game just so they can play online with shackers and aren't really looking forward to the single player that much? Also if someone who got in the mp beta thing can tell me, how is Halo 3 multiplayer. I was one of "Those" people who loved Halo 1 but disliked Halo 2 in mp. Just didn't like how it feels.

You know what the shack needs? A brewing resource page.

Somebody should make a page we could all submit recipes, ideas, questions, etc to share with the other shack brewers. If we had something like that I would go to the help section and post a question regarding what everybody's preferred method of adding oxygen back into the wort before pitching your yeast. There seems to be quite a few choices and I just cant decide.

Double Backflip Tombstone!!!
I stayed up until 4am trying to pull this trick off, and when I finally did the game only recognized it as a backflip Tombstone. Perhaps they never intended anyone to do a double, as, it took me hours of tries to finally land one. I think its by far my favorite trick I've done. I'm really enjoying the game.

So, since then I've just determined its not the ethernet port or Vista being gay, but is in fact my router. It locks up on my laptop as well that is used to work fine, whether it be wired or wireless it still locks up.
