Elite Beat Agents Dev Confirms 360 Title
by Carlos Bergfeld, Sep 14, 2007 11:43am PDTJapanese rhythm game develoepr iNiS has a title for the Xbox 360 in the works, iNiS co-founder Keiichi Yano confirmed to Gamasutra in an interview. Known for games like Gitaroo Man (PS2) and Elite Beat Agents (NDS), it's likely the 360 offering will be a rhythm game as well. Yano wouldn't offer more to Gamasutra than confirmation of the rumored title's existence. "Yeah. We are currently working on a title," he said. "I can't really get into it more than, 'Yes, we're working on something!'" Elsewhere in the interview, Yano expressed his concerns about the burgeoning music game genre, saying he hopes its rise in popularity won't be abused by game publishers. "I'm very concerned about the quality of the music games that are coming out and will come out, because again, I do feel as though it's kind of a special genre that requires specific knowledge of music and what makes music fun," Yano said.
