So it seems that the Halo 3 anticipation (or hype, your choice) is barreling ahead in preparation for the launch. Chris did a nice piece with Bungie's content director, which you can find here. I wanted to give a shout out to haiku, just to let you know Columbus' weather is indeed still nice today. I know you were hoping and waiting. I think we might do a skosh bit more of a contest today, I'll get back to you guys on that, but it should be fun with a little something for everyone. Damn steam store is not loading for me I want to preorder TF2 :(

  Yeah that's one of the few minor annoyances I have had with steam. Sometimes it feels like they directly edit the steam store while it is online and in use... Too many times I have loaded it up and seen missing images, wrong/inaccurate information on days they are adding games.

        The problem is that Valve's intenet tubes are stuffed solid with hundreds and fifties. You can't just jame more money down the internet pipe and hope that it will clear up, you have to wait until Valve sends in the intern with a backhoe to haul away a few freight trains fulla cash before you can send them your money.

  Fuck valve. This is a slap in the face to a loyal customer. They SAY steam is for free but I bet TF2 would only cost $2.73 without it!!!

  I was about to order it but then discovered it doesn't come with HL2: deathmatch or CS: source, you have to pay for those extra! :( I thought HL2 included those when it originally shipped

    Yeah, well this is different bundle and now you get TF2, Portal, Ep2, and Ep1. That's a stupid reason not to order, especially if you never had HL2.

      I have played through HL2 and EP1 before on my brothers computer, so I'm more interested in the multiplayer games

        I'm betting they'll come out with a multiplayer pack with it included. They already have one now with cs:s/hl2dm/dod:s. maybe you should just get that and tf2 seperate.

        There are three packages with TF2: http://steampowered.com/v/index.php?area=game&AppId=440&cc=CA
        
        The $80 package has Orange Box plus CS:S, DoD, Half Life Source, and Half Life 1 and 2 deathmatch. The $100 package has those plus the rest of Valve's back catalog.
