U.S. Neo Geo Virtual Console Releases Named, Priced, Expected Soon

SNK Playmore today issued details on the company's plans to release Neo Geo arcade titles on Wii in North America via the system's online Virtual Console storefront. Priced at 900 Wii Points ($9) a piece and managed by the Tokyo-headquarted D4Enterprise, the initial batch of games includes three 2D fighters: Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting, both developed by SNK, and ADK's World Heroes. No release dates were provided, though yesterday's offering of a Neo Geo Advanced Entertainment System game in Japan's VC and the company's promise that "more titles will follow over the coming months" implies North Americans won't have to wait all that long.

I remember the arcade machines had a slot for cards which you could save your progress at the arcade and then continue at home, or the other way around.

also the arcade machines had headphone jacks
