I was very dissapointed by the demo. Everything feels so light , like no physics. Joint operations felt like that. But it was a far better game. Insanely fast. It's like they finally gave all the CS and Quake players a BF enviornment and voila! complete mayhem in a bad way. Ow well , I'm sure alot of folks will enjoy it.
IMO , BF still reigns supreme. Man I can't imagine what will ever top it other than BF3.
However I don't really like the way they portrait Strogg in this game. I always thought most Strogg are just mindless zombie like creatures or drones ala Borg from Star Trek, without any individuality or at least I got that impression from Quake 4 single player and the stroggification sequence (which you last minute avoided, and didn't get connected to the central nexus - or something similar).
Now they are individuals (of course, they are playable), but those pre recorded voice messages "Thank you" and all that, makes them a bit weak in my eyes, and when you request for example a "Icarus" the guy on the other side of the line sound just like your avg. Joe Ordinary .... "yeah, ok I'll send one to you" - kind of way.
What I'm trying to say is, in this game, the Strogg don't seem so organized and determined to eliminate/harvest all possible life there is on Earth. They're just another Army.

The game is great, i love it, and the graphics also have the same quality of the trailers, but all the movies are carefully built to give an impression about the gameplay different from the real thing, the trailers usually have a more marketable cinematic realism style, which is not like the game itself.
