Lastly, I checked out the NBA Live 08 demo that hit XBLM the other day and by some kind of miracle it seems those guys finally unsucked the game. 06 was just unfinished and 07 made me want to cut myself with how sloppy it was. I now look forward to kicking Maarten's ass on the internets with NBA Live 08. I sure hope season mode stuff is good.

TF2 wiki says theres only one CTF map (2Fort) being shipped with the game, the rest being "control point" maps. Interesting. Anyone know if this is true?

  Considering it doesn't list any of the other shipping maps it's hard to tell. Supposedly every map is going to be different gameplay-wise, so even if several maps use a control point scheme, the way it affects the map will vary. I'm sure we'll see some variations on CTF as well, even if it's not with the initial 6 maps.
