          I must have reinstalled windows a dozen times, moved to vista, and gone through 3 or 4 iterations of hardware upgrades since Steam came out, and it's always been like this for me.
          
          I mean it's not too big a deal, as I just restart which takes 20 seconds and then it works, but it crashes on me at least once every 3-4 times I use it and always has.
