Battlefield: Bad Company Media Explosion

by Nick Breckon, Sep 06, 2007 12:10pm PDT

Are you ready for another Battlefield game? DICE and EA hope so. They're bringing Battlefield: Bad Company to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next year. Featuring a single player campaign with destructible environments and sandbox gameplay, players will take a squad of "renegade soldiers" on a "personal quest for gold and revenge." There's multiplayer, too. Check it all out below, in screenshot and trailer format.

  • Single Player? Now this is a battlefield I can get behind. I understand an appreciate what Battlefield is, in terms of Team Cooperative Gameplay. But, they haven't made a good one since 1942, I'm glad there giving me something else to do then go online and deal with "those people."

Letting me play the single player game and enjoy that for what it is, will very likely make me much more inclined to participate in the online game.

As a rule, I don't buy Online Only games, because I typically don't want to play online.

MMOs are exceptions, for obvious reasons.
