X360 Oblivion Expansion to Shiver in Retail Isles
Released earlier this year, the PC edition of Shivering Isles was distributed through both retail and digital channels. The 2400 Microsoft Point ($30) Xbox 360 edition was released at the same time via the online Xbox Live Marketplace.
Both Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine are included in the Bethesda's upcoming The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition, which marks the first availability of Shivering Isles for PlayStation 3 owners. The PC and Xbox 360 editions of the enhanced Oblivion re-release arrive later this month, with the PS3 version slated to follow later this year.

Oblivion is STILL selling for full price, I don't get it. Is it selling that well?

360 owners don't get that benefit.
The game without mods is highly flawed, in my opinion. Combat sucks; your character moves about the world in a floaty, almost spirit-like way; The way your character levels up and develops skills is one of the stupidest I've ever seen in an RPG; difficulty scaling, fast travel, etc.
I think what was most amazing about Oblivion was that despite how many things were done so blatantly wrong, the things it did right were done so right that they managed to blind most gamers to the flaws.-

No way would I play this game on a console. When I first got the pc version I wasn't that excited when playing it. IT seemed stale. I contribute that to the crossplatform development. Now that time has passed I reinstalled it on my new system to try it again and installed at least a half dozen mods from the mod community. It looks a lot better, it plays much better and its a hell of a lot more fun! KUDOs to the modders making an ok game into a game I can't stop playing.
