Evening Reading

So yeah, Trailer Park obviously needs some work but we think it's a good enough idea to stick with. Obviously in the future we'd like to just have an area set up specifically to just go through all the zillions of trailers out there.

Lastly, have you seen my nukes?

So far all the glitzy features of vista regular and ultimate have turned out to be almost a complete bust. The ultimate extras never materialized, and the side bar content that's available never happened. The widgets for the mac and for both platforms on yahoo widgets/konfabulator far exceed the quality of the crappy stuff on Microsoft's site.

It molested the performance of my 1gb single core laptop, totally destroyed it - although they were cool the hit wasn't worth it.
Yet MacOX did it fine on the same laptop but that's another story.

Seriously if you wanna use them, 3gb ram, quad core (no, I'm not kidding)

Oh are you talking about the terrible one implimented in Vista? I use Konfabulator from Yahoo, it was much more like Mac OS, it was actually useful but slow - the Vista one, just disable it.

Well then I'd assume you are using that jonfabulator thing, which is really pretty cool but like I said - you need a MONSTER PC (in my opinion)

Nothing really useful that I've found. Weather and stock ticker are OK. The RDP client widgets might be cool if you do a lot of remote-desktopping. Trying to find a good news ticker but it seems like they get hosed by the narrow width of the sidebar.

The two most useful ones I've found for the Vista sidebar are upcoming meetings in Outlook, and Live Messenger contact list.
