New Super Smash Bros. Brawl Media, Details

The onslaught of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) information continues with the latest batch of screens and details from the game's official site.

Following in the footsteps of his idol Donkey Kong is the rambunctious Diddy Kong, marking the chimp's first playable appearance in a Smash Bros. title. Meanwhile, Yoshi's Final Smash has the cuddly dinosaur-dragon-thing sprouting wings and breathing fire, while winged characters such as as Pit, Charizard and Meta Knight now have gliding capabilities.

The new assets also provide a closer look at the enemies and tactics of the single player Subspace Emissary adventure, including its Ancient Minister leader and Primid minions. Also revealed is the campaign's first boss, Petey Piranha, who has captured both Zelda and Peach in a cage. Players can only rescue one mistress during the encounter depending on which cage they destroy first--a troubling moral quandry for diehard Nintendo fans.

An illustrated diagram details the special attack inputs, with another set showcasing the various attacks of the Pokemon Trainer character and his three Pokemon.

Other miscellaneous tidbits highlight a trophy assist featuring the original Andross from the SNES Star Fox and the effects of the superspicy curry pickup.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl hits North America on December 3, 2007. For more on the game, check out our main gallery.

All the Pokemon fall under the Pokemon Trainer character. You switch between the three (at your command) and they share the same damage meter.
