The MGS series is the best series i've ever played in my life!
I still have vivid recollections of how I finished the threesome, especially the first one which was revolutionary in my book!

The previous trailers of MGS4 were mind-blowing and this one seems to be a bit.. underwhelming compared to them. But I'm glad to see they're bringing Decoy Octopus, Cry Wolf, Vulcan Raven & PSYCHO MANTIS back (the most original boss ever). Although I would like to have the Dead Cell & Cobra units back too, at least in some form (except Vamp who is already confirmed).

I think someone should write a book closing the chapter on all MGS games, since no matter how many times I finished it and how much I read about it on wikipedia, I still get lost in the thicket of plot details!

MGS is getting too weird/lame. HOWEVER, Psycho Mantis wannabe guy is still cool.

While I appreciate the creativity of the MGS series and some of the game play elements that they have contained, in all honesty these games do absolutely nothing for me. After watching this trailer (as well as all the ones before it) it seems that this trend will continue and I'm pretty sure I will not be getting this game. Admittedly, the graphics and animation look great (not the best I've seen though) and some of the features look cool, but this game is looking more and more like a interactive movie that is trying too hard to impress everyone with all it's cinema type effects.

Keep in mind that I have played all the previous MGS games and currently own all the consoles. I just can't say that I'm a huge fan of the series and in my opinion they are not all that great. On the same hand, I feel the same way about the Final Fantasy series. Just remember that these are only my opinions. To each his own.

MGS4 looked awesome til I saw that....its like the devs went mental ("laugh with me!!") finally... wtf did I just see? I thought it was more huge Mech stuff, but that looked like Spiderman 2

More proof that Kojima & Co. are completely out of steam. All they do now is out-ridiculous themselves. Let me guess, despite their team effort here, Snake will conveniently get to face them one by one in accomodating arenas.

Awesome second half to that trailer! Not only does it tie in characters from from mgs1 and 3, but it captures all the creepiness that the patriots agenda had at the end of mgs2 . i look forward to hearing it shat on in the next shackcast.

Looks great - but it's not going to make me buy a PS3. I already own a 360 - so I'll most likely buy a PS3 a few years day the road to play the exclusive titles like this one.
