After playing almost exclusively multiplayer stuff for the past year or so I gotta say I was really impressed with the singleplayer experience of call of duty 2 which I just beat last week. Hoping MoH is just as good.

Well, they've got a sale from me. That was pretty damn cool. Great visuals, gameplay's fun. I like the health dynamic they've got going on - much more challenging than the CoD-style "duck for a second and you're back to full health".

The whole ironsight/leaning/raising/lowering thing is interesting, too. Works well.

Anyhow, my initial impression is that this will deliver. I'm looking forward to picking up the full version. Will this be on Steam, by chance?

Does anyone have any problems with this? I installed the game ok and when I run it from the opening ea logo it goes at about 1fps. CPU usage jumps through the roof. I do have a computer capable of running this though.

I quite liked it, although as I figured , the whole "start anywhere you want on the battlefield " is kinda silly.
you parachute into an enclosed town!!! for god sakes. Well anyone that knows this series well knows the BS they pump out before its release. Sounds were very wimpy, but I didnt mind the gameplay at all. Just not sure how quckly I would become bored of it. I think I 'll wait for some reviews.

Is there no quick save or check points in this game? I took care of one AA on the hill and was about to take care of the AA at the mansion and I get ahead of my team and surrounded by Germans beating the shit out of me and the mission starts at the very beginning again.

I'm sick to death of people whining about WW2 games. No one is telling you to buy them. Stop trolling and let us fans enjoy them. Saying the WW2 genre is played out doesn't make any sense at all. Is the 'sword & sorcery' genre played out? WW2 was the turning point in human history. The fruits of that war have effected every human being on the planet, in countless ways. There are many, many stories of the war that have yet to be explore.

I can't wait until all you hypocrites start singing the praises of Hell's Highway, which is going to own your ass. And what about the upcoming adventure-ish game about the French resistance? Instead of thinking before you type, please flame on with as many 'the French are cowards' replies as you can. Of course, you don't realize there where thousands of soldiers who resisted the initial Nazi invasion who died defending their country.

It seems like nobody else in my squad is able to take out any enemies, and it doesn't seem to matter how many I take out because they're just respawning infinitely and taking up the exact same positions all the time. Best tactic seems to be to just run into the middle of the enemy group and then take them out, as they stop spawning at that point. You can do objectives in any order but it's not really an open battle field as there's only one route to get from one place to the next in the demo.

The graphics are pretty standard fare stuff, nothing to write home about. A lot of objects show white edge fringing which looks pretty nasty, and there's no AA. It's no CoD2.

Textures a little bit crappy, jaggies for sore eyes, and aiming is a bit frustrating especially when using your ironsight restricts you to leaning only; no movement. But it's fun - I like how the entire level is kinda accessible and it's not linear. Firefights are very frantic. But I hope they make the 360 version fun. The aiming in this one was difficult enough.

pretty sweet... I think I need to play it on hard as I just wandered in to the middle of the german ranks and did a 360 slaughter everyone move.

Interesting, hopefully it'll be good. I'm already getting memories of MOH:AA MP demo where 45% of the players has shotguns, 45% had rocket launchers, and the remaining 10% used grenades.
