Tragnarion Announces Doodle Hex for the DS

If your favorite part of Castlevania DS was drawing seals, Tragnarion Studios has a game for you. An original title by the Spain-based studio, Doodle Hex will challenge would-be "Doodlers" to drawing-based combat, requiring players to sketch a predefined shape on the DS touch screen in the heat of battle. The runes create spells and curses that cause damage to your opponent, so the game is all about drawing the right shape at the right time, as quickly as possible. A puzzle mode will allow players to unlock over 200 runes in a picturesque twist on Pokemon. Head-to-head multiplayer battles are also supported. The game will be out in Q1 2008, so get some PictoChat practice time in now. Tragnarion has also released some concept art.
