It is kind of interesting to see Rage and now Borderland show up from two different Dallas area developers within a month of each other. We'll have more details on both games here in the next few weeks. I'll happily check both of them out! So then, for this evening:

Lastly, yes it's ok if you just fast forward to the end of the ShackCast to hear us make asses of ourselves. It doesnt hurt our feelings too much.

  • Just went to a Matinee showing of Superbad. I try and go to mid day shows to avoid the hordes of highschoolers at night.

    I give it a 9.5 out of 10

I think it's strongest points were the conversation/dialog and writing of the movie, which in my opinion should always be the strong point, even over plot and effects.

The overall plot was a normal teen movie plot but the great thing was, this really wasn't the focus. I found myself waiting in anticipation for the next dialog scenes and really didn't care what happened with the plot. In this movie the slow parts were the action and the more interesting parts was based on the brilliant writing.
