Mark Rein mentioned yesterday on VE that we should expect something to be announced this week so things look to fit together. Here's the deal: (Thanks Uchendu Nwachukwu)
UT Bonus Pack Tomorrow: Gamecenter will team up with Epic Games to premiere the Unreal Tournament Bonus Pack on Friday, February 25. The free bonus pack will be available as a download to all Unreal Tournament fans. It includes three new skins, 11 new multiplayer levels, and a new feature, Relics. These are special items that grant special powers.The bad news is it looks like one of those HOT EXCLUSIVE deals which means everyone hammering a single server on release. Bah.

The maps are hardcore DM and CTF. No gimmicky stuff here this time.
And there are 3 new player MESHES, some of which have multiple skins and faces as well. Some have original voices. Moo!

Actually, the single player game I\'ve played most is Doom/2. Jedi Knight, Half Life and Duke were good for one go. SystemShock2 was amazing but I have no wish to play it again. Can\'t comment on WheelofTime, dont have a Glide card so I skipped that. But I can still put up ZDoomGL or any new port right now, and have fun for hours =)

Comes down to personal opinion. Q2 SP felt like torture to me. The only reason I endured it was I felt I had to finish since after I got it. Boring boring maps, horrible sounds, extremely weak enemy characters which were more _annoying_ than anything else. The Q2SP was like a chore I was doing simply because I felt I had to. I never ever played it again once I got it over with. I tried a few custom maps later on, but they still followed the same horrible theme and had the same crappy monsters with 2-bit sounds. Q1 SP is like the model of a single player experience compared to that. Q2 just makes me wince.
IMO, of course. But that goes without saying.

Wasn\'t there talk of additional maps in development and additional models from steed (babe pack or some such thing)? Or did that turn out to be just the WCTF maps and the Clan PMS model?
