StarCraft 2 Media Bonanza

I'm on my way home from BlizzCon, but I just couldn't wait to share these shots of StarCraft II with you all. Admittedly I am no photographer, but I did my best to grab some unique images across a broad spectrum of interest. Now I don't know about you guys, but my favorite method of testing new units is to mass them into ridiculously large hordes and go to town. Here is the result of an hour of concentrated unit massing, with hordes of Battlecruisers, Marines, Colossi, and Motherships wrecking havoc on helpless AI opponents. Check out the first and second parts of this massive gallery.

Next is a look at the game from a statistical standpoint. Want to see how the new waypoint building queues work? Curious to know how many hit points a nuke does to a Nexus? You'll find answers to these questions in gallery one and two.

Lastly, by semi-popular demand, I took a few shots of the upcoming StarCraft board game, as well as some Blizzard-themed action figures. Take a gander.

This is looking great. I love how Starcraft 2 looks sort of like what someones paintings of a particularly epic Starcraft 1battle might look like.

I'm very excited over this game but the fact that there are so many unit types is kinda scary. When I saw there were three Terran air attackers not including the support craft, I got anxious.

Awesome stuff. Website design suggestion - it'd be nice on galleries to see how many images there are and when cycling through to have a 5/46 or something similar. Maybe when you mouse over to get arrows it could also have x/y or some such.

Totally cool!

Thor looks awesome. Reminds me of the Juggernaut from C&C3. I also love the Viking -- anything that reminds me of Robotech is a cool thing. This game is looking cooler and cooler, and much more different than I originally thought.
