  • Babelfish translation about the Athlon processor:

\"AMD in hall 13 presents the new AMD Thunderbird processor with integrated L2-Cache and 1.116 GHz clock unfortunately only behind the window blinds. After persistent counerboring it succeeded to throw however, for the first time a view of the new processor (Slot A) and the new board (code name Shiner). The board was also accelerated by hand after-soldered oscillators on 112 mc/s, in order to get the processor with the factor 10 to 1,12 GHz.
Thunderbird processors are to come in the third quarter 2000 both into copper technique from Dresden and to approximately 1 GHz into aluminum from Austin/Texas on the market. \"
