Rage Publisher Not Yet Determined
by Chris Remo, Aug 04, 2007 12:04pm PDTAt QuakeCon in Dallas, Texas, id Software's Todd Hollenshead informed Shacknews that no publishing contract has yet been signed for its just-announced internal project Rage (PC, Mac, PS3, X360). Hollenshead's statement contradicts reports from various online publications that longtime id publisher Activision has been tapped to release Rage. When asked for further clarification, Hollenshead stated that the lack of an existing contract does not necessarily imply that Activision will not publish the game, merely that nothing has been determined. Check back on Shacknews in the coming days for more from Hollenshead and id designer Tim Willits on Rage.
