Bethesda Gives Trekkies Budget Holiday Title
by Carlos Bergfeld, Aug 03, 2007 12:36pm PDTA new action-strategy title under the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek: Conquest will arrive on the Wii and PlayStation 2 this holiday season, Bethesda Softworks announced today. The game combines turn-based strategy with real-time ship combat during battles. The single-player-only title set in the Next Generation universe will let players command Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Cardassian, Dominion, and Breen forces. And the Wii version of the title will allow players to directly select units onscreen and fire during combat by aiming the Wii remote. The title will be the fourth Star Trek game published by Bethesda since acquiring the license in January 2006. The Wii version and PS2 version will sell for $29.99 and $19.99, respectively.

At least Activision made some decent Star Trek games with the Elite Force series. Bethesda needs to step it up a notch :(
