Star Soldier and Dynamite Headdy Drop Off on Wii Virtual Console
by Nick Breckon, Jul 30, 2007 9:54am PDTNintendo today released three more titles to its downloadable selection of well-preserved games. New to the service is Hudson Soft's vertical space-shooter Star Soldier, originally released on the NES and available for 500 Wii Points ($5). Apparently you can fly under land masses in this one. Treasure's unique Genesis platformer Dynamite Headdy hits the store for a price of 800 Wii Points ($8). I have no idea what this game is about, but it sure looks different. Finally, Data East's Turbo Grafx 16 arcade puzzler Drop Off arrives at a cost of 600 Wii Points ($6). Five rounds of haunting, nightmarish, Breakout-style gameplay await you.
