The core game looks no better than Company of Heroes, and the dual map thing was already done and done better in Supreme Commander. Other than that, those few lighting effects could be just as easily done in DX9. The gameplay, as always, will be the deciding factor. It will be hard pressed to beat the dynamics and play strategy of CoH/WarHammer.

I haven't seen anything yet that makes me spooge over DX10.

    And besides, all games are headed towards DX10, you can hold out for as long as you want, but it's coming. And if you knew anything about DX10, you'd know that developers recently got their hands on it... games aren't made in matter of a few months, it takes years.
    
    Furthermore, people who buy the latest and greatest cards are the ones that are pushing this whole industry forward. I'm sure there are lots of people who would rather stick to 8 bit, and more power to them, just don't complain to the rest of us because you don't have the money to buy a new computer.

- DX10 is very powerful and all the stuff that DX9 does now cost the developers a lot of blood, sweat, and ... : Fail_Safe
- Dual monitors in Supreme Commander may work well for you. My second monitor is widescreen and rotated 90... : Bruzilla
