I will watch a fuckton more trailers and shit if you continue to embed. Two thumbs up. Should the embedded video be shown on the front page though? It kind of "feels" like it's out of place. As though there should be some kind of image placeholder letting us know there's an embedded video if we follow the link or something (which could just lead to the comments page, allowing both easy viewing and showing the non regulars that the comments here are half the reason to come).

Video player is great - easy to use, standard controls (tho the volume thing could be easier - maybe a slider?). Like it alot. Please no bumper ads tho - Shacknews logo is fine at the most.

This is an excellent idea, it's a harsh world when it comes to spreading the word about your game; sound-alike naming conventions and all games being reasonably up to date graphically wise thanks to shading language standards make it incredibly though for your stuff to even get a second glance.

The best improvements are the simple ones.

I'm loving the embedded videos, way to go.

However, since this thing is still new, is there a chance you could use a flash player that allows you to skip to the middle of the video and it'll start streaming from there? (Google Video used to use one like this, even though YouTube doesn't (what's up with that, anyway))

Just a small complaint.
