one thing that bugs me about skate from the few videos and screenshots i've seen, is that the actual skateboards look wrong. it may just be the bad angles (in everything??) but something feels off. it's like they are too long, or too thin, or both. and the nose/tail don't seem to curve up as much as most boards do. also, the noses/tails seem pointier in skate (if that makes sense). i guess i could be crazy. but it really stood out to me in the videos i've seen and most screenshots. the game looks fun, but if they can't even get the dimensions of an average skateboard correct, how good is it actually going to be?

maybe that's just the style boards are these days? i haven't skated in a while.

I had to take a second look at that simpsons game, it looks great in HD. Some Simpsons games always take me by surprise, like that taxi game I had sitting around, one day tried it and couldn't believe how much of a fun party game it was.

Man if SKATE is half as good as it sounds, then this will finally be a breath of fresh air into the skateboarding game genre....which has grown stale with Tony Hawk ad naseum.
