S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky Revealed

According to Computer & Video Games, GSC Game World is working on releasing the next S.T.A.L.K.E.R. chapter next year. Titled S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky, the game is said to be a prequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, fleshing out the story of one of the main characters of the first game. The game world will consist of a mix of familiar and new territory, with more anomalies and vastly different landscapes. On the technical side of things, look for interface and PDA tweaks, along with overhauled AI. Update: We now have screenshots.

Great News! Now if they would just fix the damn ORIGINAL game! Users like myself of ATI x1950 video cards have constant lockups and CTD / BSODs! This is nice and all but I would like to even get to play the game!!! >:(

- i finished the game on a 9800pro and while it slowed down at the end, the game didn't crash on me at all. : X-GOUKI

I have a lot of problems with playing this on Vista, sometimes crash when saving or when going to the menu

Adding -noprefetch helped some but I still get the random exit to desktop, playing with a 8800 GTX latest drivers, anyone know something I can try?

oh crap .. I just remembered I never finished this game. I got about 90% through and lost a drive but the backup reinstall (with savegame!) worked. I know what I'm doing tonight. (Too many games is good ... but sucks sometimes when you forget about them haha)

Just started playing Stalker last week, and it's one of the best SP games I've played in a long time. Hopefully, the sequel will add vehicles.
