EA Goes on NFL Tour
by Carlos Bergfeld, Jul 10, 2007 5:26pm PDTElectronic Arts revealed today a new arcade-styled football game, NFL Tour, under development by the pigskin profiteers at EA Tiburon in Orlando. The new officially licensed NFL title will hit PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January 2008. Players will face off against professional teams in newly designed stadiums on a fictional NFL road show, and winning means earning a higher-paying NFL contract. The game may take the place of the EA Tiburon's NFL Street series in catering to a more casual gaming audience with its "intuitive controls" and "fast-paced gameplay." The studio has been responsible for all of EA's Madden and NCAA football titles.
