With series creators Pandemic busy at work on the controversial Mercenaries 2: World in Flames (PC, PS3, X360), Path of the Furon is being developed by Sandblast Games, and will continue the story of the carnage-focused, satirically-minded, adeptly-voiced aliens. Graphics upgrades, destructible environments, and downloadable content round out the feature list.

Big Willy Unleashed is planned as a prequel to Path of the Furon. Developer Locomotive Games will be tasked with adapting the third-person Destroy All Humans gameplay with the Wii Remote, as well as porting the product to the PSP and PlayStation 2.

"The Wii's capabilities served as a springboard in designing Destroy All Humans! Big Willy Unleashed," said THQ vice president Jack Sorenson. "The game will take full advantage of the Wii Remote, allowing gamers to cause massive destruction on foot, in Crypto's UFO or at the controls of the Big Willy mech."

Both games are set for simultaneous release in early 2008.
