Overlord Patches Released

13
Codemasters has released the v1.1 update for Overlord, fixing two issues. One issue relates to uninstalling the game; this could possibly result in data loss if you have it installed to a custom directory. The second fix takes care of a rare bug that keep players from finishing the game.

There's also a patch for the demo, which takes care of the same uninstalling bug.

Well, It seems like i just deletes everything in the folder including things that aren't part of the original install. So, I don't know who puts important/pertinent files in my game folders but w/e.

I'm sure that in just this moment someone is screaming in agony when he realises that all the porn that he cleverly hid in the game directory are gone...

Windows Installer lets you tell it which files are part of the game so that it only uninstalls the folders and files that you specifically installed and that are not being "shared" between products.

The HL2 retail installer had a "bug" where it wouldn't let you install HL2 without CS:S. You had to install HL2+CS:S and then uninstall CS:S. Fuckers.
