Weekend chat refresh! Picked up The Darkness on Friday, and in between 360 freezes (yeah, still..I'll be damned if I go buy a new one before they revise the hardware though) I've been playing it a fair amount. Great locations, characters, graphics, gameplay. Really nothing to complain about so far, very enjoyable. Reminds me a lot of Max Payne actually. Also took in Live Free or Die Hard, or Die Hard 4.0 as it's called here, yesterday, and was very surprised - a lot better than I had been expecting. Movie: Yo, it ain't Miller time, man!

    EMO WORK RANT

    I had to go to work today on a stat. holiday. Since I haven't been working at this place for 30 days, I don't think I get stat. holiday pay, NOR do I get overtime hours on this.

    Anyhow, with that in mind, we had about a job that should take an hour. Setting up some tables and 21 computers for a summer camp.

    When I arrive, about 5 minutes before I'm supposed to, only TWO of the SIX people are there. That's cool. The other guy and I start working. The next person arrives 15 minutes after the time we were supposed, and the last person arrives 20 minutes before we were supposed to. Then our bosses, who were supposed to help us arrive 45 minuetes and 55 minutes late (FOR A ONE HOUR JOB).

    In addition, one of my other co-workers is all like: "OMG. I am SO tired," and she hadn't done ANYTHING. She hadn't done any lifting, had hardly physically exerted herself, and had spent most of her time standing around.

    I mean...how do these people...HAVE JOBS? Honestly, if I were the boss, I'd be like: "Get your ass to work, you lazy bastards," and I would be right in there with them. Working. No one has any bloody work ethic any more. They expect to have an easy job, and have money be handed to them on a silver platter.

    My direct boss is fucking awful for that, too. He delegates the EASIEST jobs away from himself, doesn't take responsibility for any shortcomings, and INCESSANTLY COMPLAINS about how hard his fucking job is. FOR FUCK SAKES.

    *Sigh.* I've had lots of other jobs where this has been the case, and it just infuriates me to no end. Why the fuck are people so fucking lazy!?!? JESUS FUCK.

    TL;DR I fucking hate lazy people. FUCK ALL.
