PS Store Adds New MotorStorm Mode, Updates Downloadable PS1 Games

A new mode for Evolution Studio's off-road PlayStation 3 racer MotorStorm and PlayStation 3 support for two downloadable PSone games are now available through the PlayStation 3's online PlayStation Store. The MotorStorm Time Attack download adds a time attack mode to the game, allowing players to select their desired vehicle type and track as they try for their best lap time. Racers can then compare their best time against those of players worldwide thanks to the new global leader boards, as well as records and share ghosts with their friends. Formerly only playable on the PSP, the downloadable versions of Clap Hanz's PlayStation golfing game Hot Shots Golf 2 and Sony's PlayStation snowboarding title CoolBoarders have been updated and can now be played on the PlayStation 3 as well. Both sell for $5.99, and those that have already purchased copies of said games from the PlayStation Store can obtain today's update by re-downloading the license file from their download list.
