Bloody Wolf Engages in World Sports and Open Tournament Golf on Virtual Console
by Chris Faylor, Jun 18, 2007 1:47pm PDTNintendo added three new games to Wii's online Virtual Console store this morning. First of this week's additions is Nintendo's NES Open Tournament Golf, which stars Mario and friends, features three different courses, and sells for 500 Wii Points ($5). Hudson Soft's TurboGrafx-16 mini-game collection World Sports Competition represents the other sports-related offering on Virtual Console this week. Priced at 600 Wii Points ($6), the game contains a total of 18 different Olympic events, including shooting, rowing, and archery, as well as track and field. The Data East-developed TurboGrafx-16 port of the arcade shoot 'em up Bloody Wolf rounds out this week's set of Virtual Console releases. Playing as a command tasked with retrieving the kidnapped president, gamers run and gun through eight different levels. As with most other TurboGrafx-16 games on the service, Bloody Wolf retails for 600 Wii Points ($6). Check back later in the week for the Shack staff's take on this week's releases. In the mean time, feel free to peruse our master list of past Virtual Console reviews.

shadow warrior (ninja gaiden) and gradius3 have got to come out here on the european one this friday. it's such a terrible insult. I've been thinking about those games being on the american but not the european service at least three times a day for the past week, this might end in a good quick old school style rage cardiac arrest this upcoming vc day.
