  • while waiting in a doctor's office, I decided to take a look at the shitty magazines and there was a copy of Popular Science there. Naturally, I browsed my reading material. In it, there was an ad for Extra, an herbal supplement that was for, shall we say, "male enhancement." For the slow among you, that means it was for making your penis bigger. They had charts and everything (guaranteeing at least 1 inch of girth--up to three or four--and several inches of length). I chuckled, but noted that they even gave a scientific name for the herb. Curious as to what they were selling people, I looked it up. The herb was Avena Sativa.

    Wikipedia contributed to this laugh. Avena Sativa is the scientific name for oats. This company is selling people oatmeal in pill form and telling them it'll make their penis huge. This makes me grin maliciously.
