The graphics are terrific, and I love the size of the levels & open ended look of the game.

That said, the animations are mediocre and the most important aspect, the gameplay could have been lifted from the 1st Serious Sam...or Doom for that matter. Is there anything resembling a narrative in this game? Do you just slaughter endless hordes with nothing but the carrot of new weapons dangling in front of your nose?

Looking forward to playing this game. Giving us actual in game movies makes me want to play it even more. I just hope they appeal to a broad range of systems.

The overall animation and motions seems - um, rough, at best. Feet aren't tracking the ground. The "Zombies" are comic relief? The "Spikelord" looked pretty awful, lurching and skipping towards the player.

I don't care for all the glowy/sparkly/flashy bs either... it's going to be tough on the eyes after three-four hours of play.

Just so I don't seem =all= negative, I do like the green/red range/life indicators. Hmmm... I wonder if I could code a WoW addon like that...

I try not to buy =any= games the first day, regardless of my enthusiasm - damn you, Trespasser! - but this one is one the "wait and see" list more than most.

p.s. Prolly will buy Bioshock on the first day, anyway *sigh*

It seems shallow but for me the promise of unlimited weapons and endless upgrades for those weapons is more than enough to keep my interest.

Plus PvP should be a blast.

If you're wondering, around 1 minute, you can tell it's an engineer. He deploys a drone to help him. That's if they haven't changed it so that all marksmen get drones like that.

who's making these terrible movies?

they show what are diffrent classes i assume, but they dont even tell you what they are. and theres so many slow downs, it makes the product look bad.

The more I see this game in action, the more uncertain I feel about it. It looks great, and I love the setting, but looking at the gameplay...it just doesn't seem all that interesting. I do want to try it, but I'm not feeling as good about this game as I was in the past.
